Terms and conditions for Roar Together For Tigers Campaign
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Roar Together For Tigers Campaign (“Campaign”) organised by World Wide Fund for Nature, Malaysia (“WWF-Malaysia” or “Organiser”).
- Introduction
- The Campaign is organised by WWF-Malaysia to support tiger conservation and related conservation initiatives.
- The Campaign may be promoted on and run through our website or other social media channels.
- To enter this Campaign the participants must enter as directed on our website at https://fundraise.wwf.org.my/event/global-tiger-day/home or social media channels or through such other channels as may be specified by WWF-Malaysia.
- This Campaign is free to enter. Participants are not required to make a donation in order to participate.
- Promotions on social media are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn or any other online site or social media channels.
- By participating in the Campaign, Participants acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Eligibility
- Participation is open to individuals, groups, schools, organisations and companies.
- Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Participants under the age of eighteen (18) years old must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before participating in the Campaign.
- WWF-Malaysia reserves the right to request evidence of age or parental or legal guardian consent where reasonably necessary.
- Campaign Period
The Campaign runs from 20 July 2026 to 30 September 2026 (“Campaign Period”). Donations received after the closing date may not be reflected in campaign rankings or awards.
- Creating and Managing a Fundraising Page
- Participants may create a fundraising page through the Campaign registration platform in accordance with the instructions provided by WWF-Malaysia.
- By creating a fundraising page, participants agree to:
- provide accurate and complete registration information.
- ensure that all information and content shared in connection with this Campaign is truthful, accurate, not misleading and respectful.
- use their fundraising page solely to support this Campaign.
- not impersonate another individual or organisation.
- not represent themselves as an employee, agent, representative or authorised spokesperson of WWF-Malaysia unless expressly authorised by WWF-Malaysia; and
- comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
- WWF-Malaysia reserves the right to remove any fundraising page that contains inappropriate, offensive or misleading content.
- Use of Funds
- All donations collected through this Campaign will be received by WWF-Malaysia and used to support tiger conservation and related conservation initiatives in accordance with WWF-Malaysia’s charitable objectives.
- Funds raised through the Campaign will not be transferred to individual Participants or used for the personal benefit of Participants.
- Donations
- All donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
- Donations will be processed through WWF-Malaysia’s authorised payment platform or payment gateway.
- Any applicable payment processing fees or other charges imposed by the payment platform will be dealt in accordance with the applicable payment platform’s terms and conditions.
- Where applicable, an official tax-exempt receipt will be issued for eligible donations in accordance with Malaysian tax regulations and requirements.
- Fundraising Conduct
- Participants must conduct their fundraising activities honestly, responsibly and lawfully.
- Participants agree not to:
- misrepresent WWF-Malaysia, or its work, programmes or conservation activities;
- engage in unlawful, fraudulent or misleading fundraising activities.
- use offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or inappropriate language or imagery;
- offer or conduct raffles, lotteries or games of chance without obtaining all necessary licences and approvals required by law; or
- engage in any activity that may reasonably be expected to damage the reputation of WWF-Malaysia.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring that any fundraising activities organised or conducted by them comply with all applicable Malaysian laws and requirements.
- Use of WWF-Malaysia Name and Branding
- Participants may use official campaign materials provided by WWF-Malaysia solely for the purpose of promoting their fundraising activities during the Campaign.
- WWF-Malaysia’s name, logo, trademarks, branding, photographs, campaign materials and other intellectual property shall not be altered, reproduced, published distributed or otherwise used for any purpose outside the campaign or used for commercial purposes without WWF-Malaysia’s prior written approval.
- Participants shall not use WWF-Malaysia’s branding in a manner that suggests that they are employees, agents, representatives, partners or authorised spokespersons of WWF-Malaysia.
- Leaderboards and Recognition
- Where Campaign Leaderboard is provided, rankings will based on eligible donations successfully processed and recorded through the Campaign platform.
- WWF-Malaysia reserves the right to verify donations before confirming the leaderboard rankings or recognising participants.
- WWF-Malaysia may exclude donations, fundraising pages or Participants from the leaderboard or any recognition where it reasonably believes that the relevant donation or fundraising activity does not comply with these Terms.
- Prizes and Recognition (if applicable)
- Where prizes or other forms of recognition are offered as part of the Campaign, the applicable eligibility criteria and selection or award mechanism will be communicated by WWF-Malaysia.
- Unless otherwise stated:
- prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash; and
- WWF-Malaysia reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equivalent value where reasonably necessary.
- WWF-Malaysia reserves the right to withhold or withdraw any prize or recognition if a Participant is found to have breached these Terms or otherwise engaged in fraudulent, unlawful or improper conduct.
- Publicity and Use of Campaign Content
- By participating in the Campaign, Participants grant WWF-Malaysia permission to use their name, photographs, videos, fundraising stories and other content submitted by them in connection with the Campaign for WWF-Malaysia’s communication, promotional, educational, fundraising and reporting purposes.
- Where photographs or videos are taken by or on behalf of WWF-Malaysia in connection with the Campaign, WWF-Malaysia may use such photographs or videos for its communications, promotional, educational, fundraising and reporting purposes.
- Where reasonably practicable, WWF-Malaysia may provide appropriate credit to Participants when using photographs or other content submitted by them.
- Participants who do not wish their photographs, videos or other submitted content to be used for the purposes stated in this clause may notify WWF-Malaysia in writing. WWF-Malaysia will consider such requests and, where reasonably practicable, remove or blur the relevant image or content from future communications.
- WWF-Malaysia will not pay any fee to Participants for their participation in the Campaign or for the use of photographs, videos or other content in accordance with these Terms.
- Privacy and Personal Data
- Personal information collected in connection with registration, fundraising and administration of the Campaign will be handled in accordance with WWF-Malaysia’s Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as applicable.
- Personal information may be collected, used and processed for purposes including:
- administering the Campaign and fundraising pages;
- processing and acknowledging donations;
- communicating with Participants and donors;
- verifying eligibility, donations and fundraising activities;
- administering any prizes or recognition; and
- conducting WWF-Malaysia’s conservation-related communications and engagement, where applicable.

- Limitation of Liability
- Participants participate in the Campaign and conduct any fundraising activities at their own risk.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, WWF-Malaysia will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense, claim or liability arising from:
- any technical interruption, system failure, platform outage or other disruption affecting the Campaign or fundraising platform;
- loss or corruption of data caused by circumstances beyond WWF-Malaysia’s reasonable control;
- any act or omission of a third-party service provider or payment platform;
- any fundraising activity independently organised or conducted by a Participant; or
- any injury, loss or damage arising from a Participant’s participation in or conduct of activities connected with the Campaign.
- Participants are responsible for all personal, administrative and other costs incurred by them in connection with their participation in the Campaign and any fundraising activities conducted by them.
- Cancellation, Suspension or Changes
- WWF-Malaysia reserves the right to amend, suspend, extend or cancel the Campaign or these Terms where reasonably necessary, including where required by law, due to circumstances beyond WWF-Malaysia’s reasonable control, or to protect the integrity of the Campaign.
- Where reasonably practicable, WWF-Malaysia will publish material changes to these Terms on the Campaign website or registration platform.
- Disqualification and Suspension
- WWF-Malaysia reserves the right to suspend or disqualify a Participant and/or remove their fundraising page if the Participant:
- breaches these Terms;
- provides false or misleading information;
- engages in fraudulent, unlawful or unethical conduct;
- manipulates or attempts to manipulate donations or Campaign rankings;
- misuses WWF-Malaysia’s name, logo or other intellectual property; or
- engages in conduct that WWF-Malaysia reasonably considers likely to damage its reputation or the integrity of the Campaign and WWF-Malaysia.
- WWF-Malaysia may cancel any recognition or prize awarded to a Participant who is subsequently found to have breached these Terms.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
- The courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Campaign.
